At Atlantis, we’re transforming Low Earth Orbit (LEO) into a thriving habitat for hundreds, not just a handful of astronauts. By leveraging well known design concepts, COTS technology and the recent dramatic reduction in launch costs, we’re recreating artificial gravity in space—addressing the challenges of microgravity and making long-term living, working, and personal growth in LEO a reality.
Max is a physicist, former life-support engineer at the European Space Agency (ESA) and founder of Skytree, a Direct Air Capture company. The latter is based on a CO2-scrubbing process he evaluated and tested during his time at ESA.
As a kid, he attended the final of NASA’s Space Settlement Design Competition three years in a row, and is very proud to have won it in the last year.
“Atlantis is more than just a chance to experience microgravity and views of Earth; it's a chance to join a community like-minded visionaries and to be inspired to build a brighter future.”
